OVERVIEW
Freedom Fight is an educational program that focuses on educational courses and forming a community with others.
APPROACH
Using research, we prioritized a holistic view on how to design features within the program by carefully understanding how all of these features are connected and creating a more branded UI to enhance the core experience for users.

After briefing and initial research on the program we conducted 1:1 interviews gaining important insight on user pain points from existing users.
Overall the feedback was positive on the program itself being very helpful. Key items that were brought up were pain points on the Check-In flows and messaging system within the web app.
From our user interviews, we were able to prioritize which features to work on first while also taking into consideration how each feature connected with one another making sure we design holistically.
Understanding the core experience for users we focused on improving the usability of these features the first being the course flow.

MAIN GOAL
Our main goal on these screens were to clearly show a users progress throughout the course and make sure they understand the topics for each week/ module. We felt in the future this was a way we could include achievements and more celebratory moments within the app for the users.
As part of the core experience users needed to do daily and weekly check-ins. Our goal was to make these check-ins feel more exciting to help users continually engage with their community and also be accountable to themselves.
